The Lubavitcher Rebbe constantly stressed the blessing of old age. Firstly, in that the younger generation can draw from the wealth of experience of those older than themselves. Secondly, that as those past retirement have additional time on their hands they should be encouraged to use this to develop their Torah learning and skills. This idea led to the setting up of study sessions on subjects of interest that would give a base for Senior Citizens to come together to increase in Torah learning.

Our Senior citizens’ department also has a Home Visitation Programme. If you or someone you know is housebound, they will gladly arrange personal visitation.
