VISTA Training
Vista Training has been operational since
1993 with funding from various providers. Vista's training
programme was primarily set up to provide residents
of Hackney and Haringey with computer skills, fundamental
to today's workplace.
Vista
Training recognises that vocational qualifications prepare
the students to adapt to their workplace with ease.
The classes are therefore tailored to
the many different types of students, including school
leavers, mothers returning to work, and even "young"
grandparents. Many of these have gone on to produce
outstanding portfolios, maximising their own confidence
and job opportunities.
The training varies from formal teaching
and practical activities to work-based simulations,
work-related tasks undertaken in our training centre,
and real-life work experience.
Vista is currently expanding into the
tele-working marketplace to benefit industries and trainees
who are going into jobs with a professional outlook,
thus retaining long-term positions.
Local employers also use Vista to train
their staff, ensuring continuing self development. Vista
Training has also maintained relationships with local
companies so that students can enjoy professional work
placements with the opportunity of full employment after
completing one of the many courses on offer.
Vista training is so successful that its
students can be found in many of the local and London
wide workplaces. Employers know that a Vista-trained
student is highly competent and motivated
Some of our graduates have gone on to
become Vista teachers and others are teaching for local
and national training providers.
Vista Training has recently been successful
in receiving the Investors In People award, proving
once again its excellence.
In the words of the assessor from the
"Investors in People" organisation "VISTA
TRAINING TRULY DESERVES THIS AWARD"
