In 1982 the Lubavitch Council for Schools
was set up with the goal of initiating and maintaining
a Jewish level of contact with the thousands of Jewish
pupils in non-Jewish schools.
As
the number of Chabad Houses increased, Chabad House
directors became increasingly involved in visiting
the local non-Jewish schools for Jewish and general
Assemblies, Purim Megilah Readings, Chanukah events
(when in term time) Scribal Art demonstrations and similar
activities. For a Lubavitch event in your school contact
your local Chabad House
or Rabbi Zvi
Telsner at Head
Office 020 8800 0022.
